Join Jess and Kelley for a 5 night, 6 day barre and yoga retreat in Puglia, Italy at the incredible Masseria Specula.
We will start every day with a movement practice (either an invigorating barre or matte class or a gentle yoga or yin class) followed by a delicious breakfast mprepared by local Italian nonas. Daily free time gives you the opportunity to walk to the beach for a swim, sunbathe, lounge outside, walk in the garden, and enjoy a therapeutic treatment. Evenings will end with a second class followed by a group dinner.
Masseria Specula was originally a dairy farm and has since been thoughtfully restored into the retreat center in is today. See below for more details!

THE STUDIO
A gorgeous, light filled 7.5m x 7.5m space with Wi-Fi, AC & heating. Mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, & straps will be provided by the retreat center. We will be traveling with resistance bands and balls to support our barre & matte classes.
INDOOR & OUTDOOR DINING
Where we will enjoy our homemade meals together - either inside or outside under the pergola. The inside dining room has heat, AC, and WiFi.
OUTDOOR spaces & the beach
Masseria Specula’s grounds include fire pits & hot tub access, and olive tree garden, & more! The beach is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride from the retreat center.

Masseria Specula was built in 1611 and was the powerhouse of the local town Specchiarica for more than four centuries. Originally a working dairy farm, its stables once housed goats and cows, whose milk and cheese was bought by the local community. Then, from the 1950s onwards, the Masseria fell into disuse and was abandoned for seven decades.
For Carlo, its current owner, the place has always held a special significance. He knew the Masseria from childhood, when he would play in the abandoned building with his friends. Years later, he bought it from from a childhood friend whose family had owned it for generations.
In 2023, Carlo began an ambitious restoration project, transforming the once-loved farm into the retreat centre it is today. A year later, Masseria Specula opened its doors, welcoming its first guests in 2024.

Where do I fly into?
How does transportation to and from the retreat work?
The retreat center will provide a shuttle to and from the Brindisi Airport. We will coordinate a meeting spot before the day or travel.
What if I’m traveling solo?
No problem! Pick one of our single rooms available or pick a shared room that you love. We have seen some of the best friendships develop on our past retreats!
What if I need to cancel?
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE, no exceptions. Refunds will be processed if you cancel before April 22, 2027 (minus 6% for processing fees). You can protect your investment by purchasing trip insurance through a 3rd party provider.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! After your deposit is made, please email us and let us know you’d like to set up a payment plan. Balance must be paid in full before July 22nd, 2027 and will be split into even installments each month. Installments will be processed on the 22nd of each month.
