Breathe Better, Move Better

  • The Portland Yoga Project 129 Newbury Street Portland, Maine, 04101 United States (map)

Saturday, December 5, from 2pm-4pm

with Rebecca Doring at PYP DOWNTOWN

Breathe Better, Move Better explores how respiratory anatomy supports movement in yoga. We’ll look at how the neck, thoracic ribcage, and diaphragm contribute to breathing mechanics, and how improving these patterns can enhance strength, mobility, and ease in your poses. Through a workshop-style yoga practice, we’ll move through a sequence while breaking down key shapes and exploring how to access breath throughout the entire ribcage and lungs.
