Rachael Clare (she/her)

Rachael Clare's (she/her/hers) yoga and meditation journey began as a child when she sat in on her parents' and their hippie friends' meditation and drumming circles in rural Maine. She'd stuff herself from the potluck dinner of home baked bread, foraged greens, and their own organically-raised lamb, then sit on laps or cushions on the floor, and often fall asleep. The chanting, guided meditations and breath work entered her dreams and became the foundation of her life; she credits this foundation for giving her the ability to remain calm and centered. Rachael's parents began taking her to Hatha yoga classes when she was fourteen years old, and she has been practicing ever since.

Rachael has completed two 200-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings: with Jacqui Bonwell of Sacred Seeds Yoga School and with PYP. She also received certifications in Balanced Athlete Level 1 (functional movement) with Johnny Gillespie, self-massage through ball rolling with Alyssa Prettyman, and Clinically Informed Restorative Chair Yoga with Jacqui Bonwell.

When she's not practicing yoga, Rachael can be found hiking, skiing, digging in the dirt, volunteering for various non-profits, or dancing to live music. She loves animals, baking, traveling and playing with her two kids. She dislikes carnival rides, cilantro, and water, but that could always change! In an alternative universe, Rachael would be a travel writer who attends festivals around the world, celebrating people, cultures, music, art and the universality of human celebration.
