A devoted practitioner since the age of 19, Alex (she/her) felt a deep calling to share yoga with others and has spent the past seven years deepening her relationship with yoga through teaching and practice. Trained in Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative styles, Alex feels a deep calling towards providing spaces for mindful movement, stillness and self inquiry.
Alex is a deep believer in the multi-layered therapeutic qualities of yoga practice and its beneficial effects on well-being. Her mission as a teacher is to create an atmosphere of self-acknowledgment, inclusion and accessibility for all bodies and levels of experience. Alex’s teaching style emphasizes self-expression over self-improvement and encourages her students to honor themselves rather than alter themselves. She believes that the subtle and profound moments cultivated on the mat can lead to big waves of change in the world.
