Saturday, August 8 from 2:00pm-3:30pm
with Mel Walbridge at PYP DOWNTOWN
Come move, breathe, and set intentions for the season.
Known as the fifth season in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), late summer runs from mid-August through the fall equinox. Marked by the transition from the expansive energy of summer to the more inward energy of fall and winter, it is a helpful time to pause, re-evaluate routines, and engage in practices that cultivate balance and grounding.
In this 90-minute workshop, we will explore the energetic qualities of late summer through breathwork, movement, and Katonah Yoga™ practices. We will begin with an optional journaling practice, followed by pranayama and a vinyasa class designed to support reflection, and stability.
Together, we'll explore what practices nourish you, and reflect on what you can let go of as you move into the next season.
Please bring something to write in and a pen.
