WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT TEACHING YOGA?

I love everything about teaching yoga. I love feeling the energetic shift in people’s bodies and minds as the class progresses, the collective breathing, the commitment to evolution, and the sheer fun in having human bodies that can move. Movement is a human right! And when we gather together to do it, it feels like bliss to me.

Victoria Rutledge (she/her)

Victoria’s classes are a mix of exploration, acceptance, and rigor. Connecting breath and body, her goal is to facilitate each student in finding the root of her or his own practice, getting what they need from every class. Centered in love, class becomes a practice of kindness and gratitude for the body and soul. Empowering others and guiding students back to the truth of their practice is her full time job.

By centering pleasure, rest, and rigorous self-study, Victoria believes that yoga can be a potent tool to dismantling harmful internalized social structures that keep us from true union. Her classes are intended to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere for all people, while using the strength and power of her lineage as inspiration. She plans on making Yoga her lifelong work.
