What is the #1 priority that you have when you teach a class?

Accessibility- I want everyone to feel like they belong in my class and that they can achieve something. It’s important to me to offer many levels and modifications when I’m teaching a class so that all kinds of students can get something out of it.

Stephen Kirsch (he, him)

Stephen found his way to yoga over a decade ago when he was looking for a way to balance an active, athletic lifestyle and working on his feet with a complementary practice. He is passionate about guiding his yoga students through a practice that encourages them to listen and be present, that challenges them physically while offering them ease and release. His classes are thoughtfully sequenced for all levels of practitioners, and offer clear alignment and postural cueing. Stephen is also an experienced leader of international yoga retreats, bringing his students from Greece to Morocco and beyond.

Stephen's approach to teaching barre and matte-style classes draws from his love of movement and dedication to safe, challenging workouts. His barre and matte classes are upbeat and creative, offering varying degrees of difficulty and a boppy, poppy playlist. Students can expect to sweat and smile through these classes and leave feeling strong and accomplished.

Stephen is an RYT-200 hour graduate of the Boston Yoga School and loves to read, travel, and hang out with his dog Ruby.
