Roople is a lifelong yogi and a Neurologist. She appreciates the
underlying science of yoga and its effect on the nervous system. She
has experienced many different styles of yoga in different parts of
the world but trained as a Sri Sri Yoga teacher due to its holistic
approach, joyful spirit, and incorporation of the myriad aspects of
yoga including Ayurveda, breathing techniques and meditation. She is
now completing the PYP 300 hr teacher training program to deepen her
understanding of these aspects and learn ways to make yoga accessible
to all. She enjoys rock climbing, hiking, skiing and cycling and finds
yoga an excellent complement to these activities. She also finds in
yoga a reprieve from daily stresses, and a way to care for herself so
she can care for others.
